Meckatzer Brau Engel in Kempten

Great food - but at the moment only delivery service due to Corona. However, the food arrived hot and tasty - almost as usual in terms of quality - even the fries were crisp - not necessarily common with food that has been delivered! Onion roast beef as ordered perfect medium! This is how delivery service works!

The condition was very nice. We also really liked the ambience. Food (schnitzel with french fries and spare ribs) was very tasty and according to the price-performance ratio. We would come back anytime. (We were there on a Saturday night just before the second lockdown. It was very little going on.)

I haven't been to this restaurant for a number of years, now I've been back twice! What I like very much: the hygiene and separation of the tables is very well solved, they are not that noticeable! Was thrilled by the friendly and very attentive staff !!!! I can only say positive things about the kitchen: I ate game it was excellent !!!! Just keep going !!

Very, very friendly wait staff and very tasty food and beer! Corona-moderately everything under control and still very cozy. Highly recommended, also with children and dogs! Parking spaces available or around the corner.

A very good pub. Clean and groomed. Very nice service. The food is excellent. Just right if you fancy German cuisine. The inn invites you to linger. Draft beer, see good schnapps. You can spend hours there. The sliced ​​beef was tender and the mustard sauce was just awesome. Homemade spaetzle and the delicious side salad round off the whole thing. We had a great evening 😊

Unfortunately I can only give 3 stars. Had cheese spaetzle. Unfortunately, my portion was more lukewarm than warm. And unfortunately very tasteless. I actually expect more from Allgäuer Käsespätzle. Didn't really taste a cheese out.

food and beer are delicious The only thing I didn’t like was that I waited until the fig while the beer was bringing, then the waitress came and asked if they brought me beer in 15 minutes !!! and another waiter, about 50 years old, in my opinion, is not polite, I don’t know how German I asked in English, he’s like no, but I continued in English, and he understood and also answered in English. was in another Meckatzer, everything was perfect there! one waiter did not speak English but he tried to explain somehow! just for this 4 stars!

We celebrated New Year's Eve here and it was all wonderful! The food was of great quality, the service is very nice and attentive and there was sparkling wine and fireworks at midnight. It was the only restaurant in Kempten that was still open after midnight on New Year's Eve. We will definitely be back next year!

Really like their food but 3 out of 4 times I go there they are closed for some kind of reason. That really gets annoying and there for 2 stars less.

This place is awesome! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly, and of course the beer was amazing. Cozy, traditional atmosphere mixed with a little bit of modernity make for a pleasant experience. Traditional German food with great prices across the board. There were a lot of locals when I went (Thurs evening) and people were being turned away if they didn't have reservations, so it would be smart to call ahead. I enjoyed a huge plate of schnitzel and three delicious beers for just about €20. Definitely worth it! You can tell how good the beer is when there are three to four bartenders are constantly filling glasses for a place that seats maybe 40 people! I mean it was non-stop!

A very nice genuine German Bavarian restaurant. Tee food was very good and the day I was there the team we visited goes there every Thursday for a Schnitzel. Good service and a nice athmosphere.
